Theme of the East is kept in the design of facades made of different types of wood made to the architects’ sketches. Cranes are traditionally imaged in all types of Japanese art and symbolizes longevity, happiness and prosperity.
This project was conceived as a unique place that combines the tastes and lifestyle of people who travel a lot, live, study and work in several cities, but like to gather in this space with their family.
Entering the apartment, we get into a spacious decorated space of the entrance hall surrounded by the mirror panels. The eye is drawn to the area decorated with rosewood panels, provided for the exhibition of paintings, which are very much loved by the owners of the apartment.
The modern sofa is complemented by collectible design chairs recreated by sketches by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. Surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic chair, despite the seeming extravagance. The upholstery is made of towed green textiles with a light contrasting thread decoration..
The boudoir area is integrated into the space of walk-in dressing room. Mirrors, decorative details, a unique breed of wood in the design of open shelves with inserts from scarlet Alcantara make this area a special and favorite place of the owner of the apartment. The textile facades of the wardrobes decorate the walls of the master bedroom.
The main item of the bedroom interior is a screen at the bedhead in the Chinoiserie style based on the design of the walls for the interior of the living room of Coco Chanel's apartment in Paris.
Hand-painted with golden patina screen echoes the brass finishings in the interior and connects the East theme in the living room. A leather bed in a modern style stands out against a decorative object by austerity and lightness of lines. The leather color was not chosen by chance, it is an aged orange color peculiar to the French house Hermes, that added a Parisian mood to this Italian piece of furniture.
Mosaic panels of the bathrooms are combined with laconic drawings of the natural stone. Fine artistic work of the master in each of the spaces reflects the mood and character of the owners. In the main bathroom, architects use techniques typical of their interiors to create comfort - wooden panels, decorative light, interesting planning structure that integrates a shelve stand with bright scarlet accents of lacquer inserts.
